In collaboration with the Department of Industries, Northern Province, the SIYB Association of Sri Lanka conducted its 50th ToT program in June 2023. The 20 trainer candidates who enrolled spoke the Tamil language as their native tongue. 17 of those candidates were able to successfully complete the ToT program. Of those, 3 were women. This ToT program targeted the Northern Province of Sri Lanka to ensure SIYB activities would reach the Tamil- language service users.
