On October 5, 2024, the SIYB Association of Sri Lanka hosted a Capacity Enhancement Training (CET) for its SIYB Trainers and Master Trainers at the CIPM HR House in Colombo 05. The training focused on modernizing training delivery for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through digital marketing principles and virtual training techniques.

Participants gained valuable insights into:

• Digital Marketing Principles: Understanding the latest digital marketing trends and strategies to effectively reach and engage MSMEs.
• Customizing Digital Marketing for MSMEs: Learning how to tailor digital marketing approaches to meet the unique needs and challenges of MSMEs.
• Virtual Training with Zoom: Mastering the Zoom platform to conduct engaging and effective virtual training sessions.
• Setting Up Virtual Training Environments: Acquiring practical knowledge on creating professional virtual training environments using lighting and sound equipment.
• Leveraging Smartphones for Professional Digital Records: Discovering how to use smartphones to capture high-quality digital content for training purposes.

All participants, who had completed a pre-training Training Needs Assessment, actively engaged in the sessions and sought clarification from resource persons on key learning points.
